For more details about the High School & Juniors programs, please attend the Info Meetings on Wed, April 16 at the Greyhound Theater at Pope. 7-8pm for Juniors & 8-9pm for high school.
PUPS
-For rising 4th & 5th grade girls
-Practices are most Mondays & Wednesdays from early Aug until mid-Sept 6:30-8pm at Pope
-$225 includes two t-shirts & a hoodie
-No tryout required; limited number of spaces available
JUNIORS
-For rising 6th, 7th & 8th grade girls who intend to attend Pope High School
-We will field 4 teams & a new player Training Group
-Initial tryout on May 18 at which we will divide the players into two summer training groups for three summer Open Gyms
-Final tryout for Pope Summer Training Group -- Aug 2
-Final tryout for Hounds Summer Training Group -- Aug 6
-No tryout required if Training Group option is chosen
-Navy & White teams -- $475 includes two t-shirts & a hoodie, two-three practices each week M/W/Th 6:30-8:30pm from early-Aug through Sept 20, some weekday games & three Saturday tournaments
-Sky & Grey Teams -- $400 includes two t-shirts & a hoodie, two-three practices each week M/W/Th 6:30-8:30pm from Aug 7 through Sept 13, some weekday games and two Saturday tournaments
-$100 of the team fee is refundable upon completion of parent volunteer roles
-Greyhound Training Group -- $275 includes two t-shirts & a hoodie, Mon & Wed practices from 6:30-8:30pm at Pope. No games/tournaments. For newer players learning the skills of the game. A player may elect the Training Group upon registration or she may choose to tryout out for a team and if she does not make a team, she may choose to join the Training Group if space remains and receive a refund for the difference of the fees or may elect not to participate in the program and receive a full refund less a $50 registration fee.
HIGH SCHOOL
-For rising 9th through 12th grade girls who attend Pope High School. Only rising 9th graders who currently attend Dodgen and Hightower Trail Middle School may participate in the May tryout.
-If your daughter does not attend one of these middle schools and will attend Pope High School, she is welcome to train with the teams in the summer. Her final tryout is on Aug 5. We will explain this process further at the Info Meeting on April 16. Please go ahead and register her for the tryout on the link below.
-Tryouts are Fri, May 9 from 6-9pm and Sat, May 10 from 9am-noon in the Pope Aux Gym. We will field a Varsity and Junior Varsity team of 14-16 players each team.
-For rising 9th graders to be eligible to participate in the tryout, they must have a sports physical completed on/after April 1, 2025 uploaded and cleared in ParentVue. Forms available in ParentVue. We recommend this physical be uploaded by Fri, May 2 for time to process.
-The high school season begins at the end of July and runs through Oct 4 for JV and hopefully until early Nov for Varsity with Mon through Friday 4-6pm practices most weeks, evening weekday matches, and a number of Saturday playdates.
-$700 returning player fee & $750 new player fee includes three practice t-shirts, a hoodie, sweatpants & a backpack for new players. These fees will be invoiced once the teams are chosen.
-$100 of the team fee is refundable upon completion of parent volunteer roles
-There is no fee to tryout.
